And that's just the tip of the iceberg. The 2022 Silverado also features a new interior, a 13.4-inch touch screen, and Super Cruise driver assistance technology. Work Truck (WT)

This base-level Silverado 1500 is hardworking and lives up to its name. Even without bells and whistles, the entry-level trim is well-equipped with an upgradable 5.3-Liter EcoTec3 V-8 engine. It has 310-355 horsepower, gets up to 19 mpg city and 22 mpg highway, and has Active Fuel Management. The WT also comes standard with a blacked-out Chevrolet graphic grille and tailgate, a Durabed truck bed, and Chevy infotainment system with a 7-inch diagonal color touch screen. It's smartphone compatible, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.
Additional key features that come standard on the WT include an eight-speed automatic transmission, tow/haul mode, powertrain grade braking, voice command, rear vision camera, and StabiliTrak electronic stability control with traction control.
Custom
From its 3.42 rear axle to the front and rear rubberized-vinyl floor mats, the Silverado 1500 Custom is sure to feel like an upgrade. The Custom includes WT features, plus remote start, LED cargo area lighting, hitch guidance, 4G Wi-Fi hot spot, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and theft-deterrent unauthorized entry. The Custom is also Chevrolet Connect Access capable. For a little extra flair, it boasts deep-tinted glass, signature LED taillights, 20-inch Bright Silver-painted aluminum wheels, and body-color bumpers and grille bar.
Its 2.7-liter, four-cylinder engine also delivers 310 horsepower and gets up to 19 mpg city and 22 mpg highway.
Custom Trail Boss
The Custom Trail Boss raises the bar on every mile. Its standard Z71 Off-Road Package includes a 2-inch factory suspension system for greater ground clearance and an Autotrac two-speed transfer case. This truck comes with all the key features found on the Custom, plus a six-speaker audio system,18-inch high gloss black-painted wheels with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, and an EZ Lift power lock and release tailgate. It's available with either a 2.7-liter four-cylinder or 6.2-liter V-8 engine that delivers 310 horsepower and 420 horsepower, respectively. The mpg is up to 16 city and 18 highway, and towing capacity is 8,000 to 9,000 pounds.
LT
The leather-wrapped steering wheel and 8-inch touch-screen display are standouts that make the LT an exciting upgrade. In addition to key features of the Trail Boss, the LT comes with a chrome center grille bar, bumpers, and mirror caps; LED headlamps with LED signature daytime running lamps; 17-inch bright silver-painted aluminum wheels; and dual-zone automatic climate control. It also features a 10-way power driver's seat with power lumbar control, keyless entry and start, two charge-only USB ports for the second row, an auxiliary power outlet, heated steering wheel, and a 4.2-inch driver information display.

RST
The RST adds exterior enhancements and cabin amenities to keep you connected while on the go. It comes with the LT features, plus luxury upgrades like heated front seats and heated second-row outboard seats. This truck boasts a body-color center grille bar, bumpers, and door handles accented by high-gloss black mirror caps; LED headlamps, taillamps, fog lamps, and cargo area lighting; 18-inch bright silver-painted aluminum wheels, and an EZ Lift power lock and release tailgate.
There are four engine options: the 2.7-liter, four-cylinder; 3.0-liter, six-cylinder diesel; 5.3-liter V-8; and a 6.2-liter V-8. These deliver from 277 to 420 horsepower and up to 23 mpg city and 31 mpg highway. Towing capacity is 9,000 to 9,700 pounds.
LT Trail Boss
The LT Trail Boss takes your driving experience to the next level, thanks to upgrades like the AutoTrac two-speed transfer case. This truck comes with everything on the Custom Trail Boss but ups the off-road ante a bit with these additional features: a 2-inch factory suspension lift with Z71 Off-Road package, 18-inch high gloss black-painted wheels, dual-outlet exhaust with polished tips, and an auxiliary external transmission oil cooler.
It comes with a 3.0-liter V-6 diesel, 5.3-liter V-8, or 6.2-liter V-8 engine. The LT Trail Boss delivers from 277 to 420 horsepower, gets up to 20 mpg city and 23 mpg highway, and has a towing capacity of 9,200 to 9,400 pounds.
LTZ
With advanced trailering features and a striking exterior, the LTZ offers an elevated ride. This truck comes with everything you'll find on the LT Trail Boss, plus high-tech conveniences like the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with traction control, outside power-adjustable/power-folding mirrors, a 10-way power front passenger seat, power tailgate, and driver memory. SiriusXM 360L comes standard on the LTZ, along with a chrome grille, chrome center grille bar, chrome bumpers, mirror caps, door handles, and beltline accents.

ZR2
This brand-new, versatile trim has springs to elevate front and rear suspension travel and a suspension system and chassis designed for off-roading in the roughest conditions. Suspension upgrades, exterior enhancements, and enhanced off-road technology were developed to maximize off-road capability and performance. Off-road-specific enhancements include Terrain Mode, which allows one-pedal rock crawling. Additional highlights include front and rear e-lockers, 33-inch off-road MT tires, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and a unique skid plate package.
Its new, high-approach steel front bumper is designed for off-road strength, durability, and clearance that enables a 31.8-degree approach angle. It comes standard with a 6.2-liter V-8 engine that delivers a minimum of 420 horsepower.
High Country
The Silverado 1500 High Country offers the ultimate daily drive. At the top of the lineup, this truck offers serious upgrades. It comes with LTZ features, front and rear park assist with an HD rear vision camera, lane change alert with side blind zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, high-intensity LED headlamps, and hitch guidance with hitch view. It also features wireless charging, an 8-inch driver information center, and a Bose premium sound system. Engine options include the 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel, 5.3-liter V-8, and 6.2-liter V-8.
